How do I register?

If you're on a guest account, tap your profile at the top right and choose Edit Profile. You'll see a green bar asking you to register. Tap it and fill in your username, password and email. You can also tap Register on the Intrigue Chat home page.

What is VIP?

VIP is a paid upgrade. As a VIP you can enter more rooms, send gifts, use the menu and unlock more features. VIP members can also apply for their own room. If your account is banned for breaking the Rules or site policies, VIP is not refunded.

What will show on my bank statement?

All charges appear as GreenCharge Inc., never as Intrigue Chat or a chat site. Your privacy matters to us. If you don't recognise a GreenCharge Inc. charge, contact us before disputing it and we'll help.

What is Intrigue+?

Intrigue+ is a complimentary upgrade for VIP members. When your room is approved, you're upgraded to Intrigue+ for free. With Intrigue+ you run your own room, assign ranks in it and make your profile stand out.

How do I get my own room?

Become a VIP, then message an owner with your room idea. Once your room is approved, you get Intrigue+ at no extra cost.

What are Gold and Rubies for?

Gold is used to buy gifts for other members, and maybe more later. Rubies are used to change your name. Both are virtual items with no cash value.

What do the ranks mean?

Every name in Intrigue wears a crest. Inner Circle (Owner, Second in Command, Leadership Admin and Leadership Apprentice) runs the site. Room Keepers (Site Room Admins and Moderators) look after the rooms. Advisors help with community, events and the look of the site. Members are Guest, Member, Intrigue+ and VIP.

Can I join the staff?

We're always looking for good people. Ask Lyric, our owner, in chat.

How do I report someone or a problem with the site?

Use the report button on the person's profile or on the message. You can also tell an owner or any Leadership member. Every report is reviewed.

Someone is harassing me. What do I do?

Block them right away, then report them. Harassment, bullying, prejudice and hate are not tolerated on Intrigue Chat and result in a ban.

What media is allowed?

No illegal, hateful, racist, sexist or disrespectful media (pictures, gifs, videos or audio). No media containing children or child themes, ever. Anything involving child sexual abuse or bestiality gets a permanent ban and is reported to law enforcement. See the Rules for more.

How do I delete my account?

Tap your profile picture at the top right, then Edit Profile, then Delete Account.
